About SHAKO

Built for people who care about cars.

SHAKO is an independent enthusiast-car marketplace built around better listings, clearer ownership context, and a better way for enthusiasts to find each other.

Mission

More enthusiast cars on the road.

SHAKO exists to make buying and selling interesting cars feel more thoughtful than a basic classified ad. Better information, real ownership stories, and stronger enthusiast communities should make it easier for the right cars to find the right owners.

How transactions work

The car stays between buyer and seller.

SHAKO provides the marketplace and bidding process, but does not take custody of the vehicle purchase price. Buyers register a valid payment method before bidding. When an auction ends, SHAKO charges the winning bidder the applicable platform fee, then connects the buyer and seller so they can complete payment for the vehicle, ownership transfer, delivery, and any other final transaction details directly with each other.

Transaction fees

Simple, transparent pricing.

SHAKO is still being built, so the transaction fee schedule is not final yet. Any buyer or seller fees will be clearly disclosed before a paid transaction takes place, with no surprise charges hidden at the end.

Developer

Independent and enthusiast-built.

SHAKO was created independently by a car enthusiast who wanted a better place for enthusiast cars to be discovered, understood, bought, sold, and kept on the road. The project started with a simple idea: better tools for enthusiasts can help more interesting cars stay in the hands of people who care about them.
